I did everything that you stated, including smaller wipers, this was a dangerous situation and would fail when I needed them with no warning! This is about the worst safety hazard that I can imagine, and I can’t believe that this was allowed to be installed on any vehicle whether it be a smart car or a diesel pusher, cost should have nothing to do with it.
