Don't think I have seen a Transit of any design with a deflector. I try to make sure when possible to stay well back of trucks and pickups with bigger tires but the last rock that hit my jeep was from the opposite side of four lane highway and hidden from view by large oleanders. We saw the rock coming but nothing we could do about it.
