I always ask the Walmart manager for permission and they always give it as long as I do not extend a slide. Some may have areas at the edge of the parking lot where the slide will go beyond the curb and out of the way. You may look for that location hiding the extension and making it safe for drivers who may not be RV'ers. Do non RV'ers go to Walmart too?
