I carry my Porter Cable pancake compressor. I tested it by deflating a M/H tire, fired up the generator, plugged it in and aired up the tire form 15lbs to 60lbs pretty quick(forgot to time it). It’s been a good little compressor I used when I remodeled the house and re sprayed texture on the walls and shot countless nails through my nail guns.

I use to do similar.

Not sure if you read Post #1 on the requirement for what was being sought? But size, weight and noise were all factors. See post #44 for how I concluded and post #63 to give you perspective of how I went from what you are doing today, to my new quieter, smaller footprint that can blow up tires and blow out my pipelines while on the road.

Note: There was nothing wrong with my Bostitch nor anything wrong with your Porter cable, I was just looking for smallest possible ELECTRIC compressor that was NOT DC powered but still had the power to drive nails if I wanted to.

I had to use it the other day and that Bostitch is so freaking loud I am almost embarrassed to use it in public. The Makita is now worth it just for the peace and quiet alone now, I can do stuff at night without disturbing anybody.

If you trusted me to buy the Meguiars #56 wax, this will be a no brainer, you will fall in love with for sure. Right up there with my AGM vMax tanks batteries.

Don't be surprised if I buy another Makita maybe a 3 or 6 gallon for home and dump the Bostitch? I just got to find a sucker ( I mean customer) that is willing to buy my perfectly fine 6 gallon Bostitch (see picture #63) it is just to damn loud (75dbs) and I don't want loud anymore

BTW, yesterday I washed and waxed my daughter's car as I had been on a trip and it was incredibly dirty. I just couldn't take it. It was night time when I finished and she didn't know. She goes to work very early (still dark), but comes home as it is starting to get dark; anyway, after a hour or so of being home; I was surprised I didn't get a hug and thank you; so I had to ask her about it and she had no idea what I was talking about and didn't even know the car had been washed and hand waxed!!!! I bet she was on the phone going to the car and on the phone coming from the car back into the house Somehow I don't think if I leave the RV with her she is going to keep the RV & Roof waxed

That's a funny DD story. Mine is the opposite... 12 years ago I told her she was going to wash the paint off her "college car" she washed it so often. To this day she has kept her cars spotless inside and out. Don't know where that came from ??? .

Well if your daughter promises to keep the RV and roof waxed with Meguiars #56 Pure RV & Boat wax tell her she may get 1st dibs from my daughter & son for a RV in Texas.

But she must promise to NEVER put RV Antifreeze in ANY of the pipes no matter how cold it may get; NOT even the P traps!!!, if she connects the fresh water tank to a fresh water hose; she must fill it Full...do not stop at 1/3 tank no mater what!!!, No sulfating or FLA batteries of any kind, must be AGM, must be 12v, must be at least 125ah each, and absolutely positively cannot have any Automotive posts!!!. she must promise to NEVER get weigh of the RV even if it is free, keep my RV off any form of scale!!!, but there is one little stipulation... be sure and tell her that the Makita Compressor is not included, I am taking that with me

You drive a hard bargain my friend! . Our plan is to drive the wheels off of our RV so there's nothing left of value for inheritance purposes... and that process starts in about 17 months when the missus retires.
