Thor ACE Rear camera replacement

We have a 2016 THOR ACE 29.2 and tow a Jeep. We keep the AXXERA AV614BH entertainment center on camera while towing the vehicle. We were on an Interstate and had a slight bump going over a bridge approach. The AXXERA unit went completely out. Can anyone suggest a new camera system to replace this AXXERA. I have searched and found several wireless cameras that use a display unit on the dash like a GPS unit. Can these cameras use the power from the old camera, or would it be necessary to find a new 12V source.

It is more likely a wire connection came loose from the bump rather than the camera failed.

Do your side cameras still work?

You have a panel on top of the dash in front of the steering wheel that is removable. In there somewhere is the cameras multiplexing box where the 3 cameras and their triggers connect with the output video cable going to the back of your radio. I would check all those connections first.

I meant to put in the post that the AXXERA until is not working. Not just the cameras. It is not a very good unit and the only thing we ever really used was the camera. Looking to just bypass the until with a backup camera system.

If all you need is a monitor just get a 7", 8", or as most have done; a 10" video monitor to display the camera and mount it on your dash - mine is to the left of the steering wheel.
