Wheel Well Trim Repair

I have noticed the trim is starting to split or peel back from the sides in all 4 corners, i have added some clear sealant inside the wheel trim area, then create a new bead around the periphery. This seems to hold trim in place. I can't find screws that secure the trim piece. The must have just glued in place.

My ACE is doing the same thing. I got a tube of Proflex to fix it up just as you described.

Mine did the same thing, I cleaned it with charcoal lighter (mineral spirits) and re-caulked it now it's tight. The only screws I saw were right at the bottom

One of mine flew off on a highway in Texas on our first trip. It was held on with 3 screws goin up and out into the wall. It also had a VERY thin bead of sealant around the outside. It was replaced by my dealership under warranty. The screws dont hold very much so make sure you have an adequate bead of good sealant (Proflex) all the way around.
