Windsport drains bath sink water into black holding tank

Thought I had a plug in the bath sink because it was not draining. Then went to use the toilet and saw black tank was full. Grey tank was empty. Dumped the black tank and sink drained just fine. I had been running a lot of water in the sink installing new fixture. Owners manual doesn’t say a thing about this. Will have to be very careful with sink use when boomdocking so as not to fill the black tank. I understand the value of having some grey water go into the black tank to help slosh out the poop pyramid but geez. At least put that in the manual.

Typically on all plant 750 coaches, the bathroom sink drains into the black tank. This is to aid in liquefying the black tank's contents as most owners do not used enough water is toilet flushing. This should have been covered by the tech doing the PDI.

Plant 250 also. It's standard across all Thor's...at leas the vast majority of models. Reasons as stated above.

Our class C does exactly that... by design. Consider that we ALWAYS start with several gallons of "treatment" (water and a couple cups of Tide liquid). If we need to conserve on black tank usage we don't use the bathroom sink at all.

The KEY is NEVER flush solids (you know what I mean ) into an empty black tank... or you'll soon be an unwilling member of the "black tank stalagmite club".
