Axxera Upgrade to Kenwood - Hurricane 29M

Hi Everyone. Its a pleasure to be here. Due to an unknown screen crack on my Axxera radio, I have upgraded my 2019 Thor Hurricane 29m to a wonderful Kenwood DMX1037S. We have received (but not installed yet) the integrated DRV N520 Dash Cam.

I am having a real issue with contrast (whiteout, overexposed) on the Kenwood screen, particularly when the camera is in view of a bright light source. I am trying to work with Tech Support at Kenwood as well as the camera & switch supplier at www.rearviewsafety.com.

So far, nobody has any solutions. Once my installer is available, we will testing the quality and integrity of the RCA cable and the external RearViewSafety 3 camera switch box. We will also bypass the switch altogether to see if this has any impact.

To help all, I have posted videos of the screen errors on my web site located at: Kenwood | Jim & Diane

Hoping to hear from you and perhaps you can offer some insight!?

Was this a problem with the axxera? It's odd cause in some of your videos it looks fine.

Normally, from a troubleshooting point of view, you lean toward the last thing that changed.

This situation did not happen with the Axxera camera-switch-head unit. I'm a little stumped and so is everyone else? The Kenwood unit is an industry-leader and everything on it is fabulous, except for this camera situation?
