Cheap Bushings on the end links

This is my second Class C on a Ford E350 chassis. My first RV back in 2004 I improved the suspension and handling by installing Bilstein shocks, a Hellwig rear sway bar and steering stabilizer. When I purchased my 2019 Thor Chateau, to my dismay, Ford and done NOTHING to improve the suspension. So again, I replaced the stock shocks with Bilsteins and while replacing the rear sway bar, I found this lovely bushing on the end link, which had deteriorated after only two years. Way to use quality products Ford!!

Your picture didn't post.
I found no viable upgrade for those end link flexible goodies or sway bar bushings.
The aftermarket single source I did find, the durometer rating was so high they didn't even bounce when dropped. I passed.

I'll pour some the next time I'm making molds,
If you find a source please post it and save me the time and testing.

My Ford chassis MH came stock with Bilstein shocks. I'm not sure I would have noticed if they were another brand. If the shocks do their job how does changing to another brand affect anything?

I thought Bilstein shock absorbers were standard Ford issue. Mine certainly came with them as well.

My understanding is that Bilstein made the shocks per fords spec which is way lower than what bilstein usually makes

So changing them could give a better ride

Semi related:
A set of Rancho shocks all but destroyed my bravada.
Had to take them off after just 200 miles.

Simply saying
'Bilstein'
Is not the answer.

The correct shocks, of any brand, for the vehicle weight and demeanor are needed.
If not, just stick with the stock ford shocks.

Get adjustable shocks you can adjust to be the best.

I THINK weight and wheel base and towed tongue weight demand that shocks be different on different rv's.

I'd rather have spring air bags instead if a guess at shock absorber valving.

Many folks have reported on IRV2 that a change to Koni 8805 shocks for their Ford Class A made a big difference over the stock Bilstein shocks
