Lagun table in Siesta 24ST
I'm looking to install a Lagun table mount in my 2018 Siesta 24ST with theater seats, and would like to know if anyone has done this with a similar layout. The existing arrangement with a rigid pole support leaves a lot to be desired, as the pole must be removed for the slide to be retracted, whereas I'm hoping the Lagun can be mounted within the slide. Per the attached picture, I think there are 2 possible mount spots for the table support: either on the upholstered column between the two seats, or the "wood?" vertical edge to the right of the right hand theater seat. Both spots are wide enough (6" for the first spot, 5" for the second, with the Lagun bracket being 3.5" wide). What I don't know is how easy it would be to access the area in back of the mounting location, and whether the mounting points have enough inherent strength to stably support the bracket. All things considered, I think I'd rather mount in the second location as the table could serve not only the theater seats (if it's long enough to serve the left hand seat) as well as the driver/passenger seats when they are faced rearward.
Has anyone done a similar mounting? Thanks.\

Hi Steve
I don't have the same set up since I have the Siesta 24SS with the dream dinette. You might want to try contacting Thor to see what is beneath the slide in order to access that area.
Good Luck
Paul

Paul: Thanks. Also I think I can remove the cupholders, and run a mini camera down there to look around.

My recliners are similar to yours in that they have integrated cup holders in the outside armrests. What I did for our "tables" is take an ornametal tray-size piece of wood (a large plaque base works well), install a piece of PVC that fits VERY tight into your cup holder on the bottom of the wood, and use the wood as a tray table when needed. We swivel it out of the way when getting into or out of the recliner and since our outside arms also have an integrated storage pocket that is very deep, the tray/table goes in there for storage on each side.
I'd shoot some pictures but the MH is at the MIL's house 2.5 hours away until we get back down there next weekend.
This is similar to what I used:

The forward, side frame may work. Pop the cup holder to see the structure inside. Still not heavy duty..
The center assembly is mounted to a wood block in front, only by a small metal "L" bracket w/ 2 screws and is held in place in the back by the black bracket that clips to brackets on the side of the seat frames. You can see the wood block in the slide photo and small lip on the bottom of the center section that goes in front of the block. The seat frames slide into the "C" channels on the slide floor. Hope this helps. ( I took my seats out and had them reupholstered.)

My OE table was heavy with no way to store. I made a table using edge glued panel from Lowes, it now fits in the hanging closet. Mount is off center so table is centered on the seats. If you see the silver cup in the slide photo above, I store the table support upright between the seat back in that cup, epoxied to the floor.

Got back to the MH this weekend so here are some pics of one of our little tables. We have one for each side.

I’m considering the Lagun table myself. I’ve seen someone install one bracket on the center of the recliners and another separate receiver bracket on the step up to the driver and passenger seats ( I have a Vegas) this way the stand could be used for either seating positions. They are on sale now and think I will buy and plan on setting them up in that manner. Too cold to get into the project now though. Waiting on our 15” snow storm tonight!

Update?
@steve2777 - we're considering the same mod, potentially with one on each side attached to the existing vertical cup holders. One thing to know is that you'll need to build out the front (assuming it is the same as our 2021 axis) of the vertical OR cut off the overhang. Our built-in armrest/cupholder sticks out more than an inch over its supporting vertical plane. The Lagun mount has to allow for a pole to extend directly upward.
Have you completed the project? We'd love to see pictures as we're just at the beginning of this project.
And @Projectman - thanks for the idea of adding an extra bracket on the stepup which would allow it to serve both the driver and passenger seats and we could get rid of the poll tables completely.
