Carpet replaced!
Just finished replacing the 24 year old carpeting in my Dutchmen with wood.
Not really a hard job but it was tedious!
Unbelievable how much debris was under that carpet!!

That really looks great!
How long did it take, and what kind of wood is it?

In total it took me 3 weeks but that was working on it a few hours at a time. If I had done it all at once working 8 hours a day, it would have taken me a week - tear out to completion. Bathroom flooring goes in tomorrow. (IDK why that has carpeting in it)
The wood is Golden pine laminate flooring by Quickstep.

That is a very good job done. It adds much more appeal and value. Plus it cleans much easier.

My wife agrees. She wanted me to replace the carpeting. The 24 year old carpeting was not only worn but my wife said she was tired of smelling the feet of the previous owners lol.

Yeah and that smell was there even after I rented a carpet cleaner. It must have seeped through to the foam padding

Just finished the bathroom flooring.
Carpeting has no place in the head of a moving vehicle.
I'll Spare you all the colorful details. Suffice it to say the tear out of the carpet & toilet made the previous work a bed of roses.
Now it's neat, clean & easy to maintain!

Daynm Skippy!!!!! THAT looks sharp!!!!
Pulling the drivers/entry/living room carpet in our coach and will replace with either hardwood or match the ceramic tile in the bath in the very near future..(the additional weight is not an issue)
Will just replace the carpet in the bedroom with new. easier on the tootsies in the mornings

Depending on the age of your RV it should be a relatively easy job. Mine is a 94. Musts are a lot of sharp blades for cutting carpet, and a lot of PATIENCE. Some of the cuts can me tricky. GOOD LUCK.

Thank you.
Finished up everything. The last piece was replacing pulls & kitchen faucet.
Now all that’s left is cleaning up
