rear sink drain on 2020 37FH Challenger

My rear bathroom sink drains to the black water tank. When boondocking I would much rather it drain to the grey water tank. Has anyone made a modification to change the drain to the grey water tank? It doesn't appear that it would be too difficult to change the drain line to pipe it into the dump line (on the tank side of drain valve) of the grey water tank. But would like to have experience of someone who has already did it and learn any nice to know things.

My front bath sink drains to the forward grey water tank.

Some people have expressed interest in making this change on various MHs, none have reported back that they did it. Perhaps they saw the wisdom of adding extra water to a black tank and decided it was easier to just conserve bathroom water use? Too many threads already on not being able to drain black tanks due to solid dams in the tank.

I understand the concept of more water in black tank. However, front bath goes to grey tank, rear bath goes to black tank.

I always ensure sufficient water in black tank and do good flushes when I dump them.

right now when boondocking I use the front bath sink but would really like to use either one and not fill the black tanks too quickly.

My modification isn't specific to a prescribed model of rv:

A Macerator pump(or even an aquarium pump) will put the water wherever you want it:
Uphill, sideways, over an axle, around a bend...through a 3/4" garden hose.

$80 and a switch near the sink.(if you don't want a manual switch there are flow activated switches.)

But
There are adjustments to make when using a motor home.
I'd suggest a change of personal habits so they match your current plumbing.

My question is what are you doing about dumping the grey tank when boondocking because the grey tank will fill faster if you make the mod.

We've been full-time 2 1/2 years in our 37fh a lot of dry camping at the race track we actually like the rear sink drain into the black tank, for the reason stated above helps keeps black tank clean, and 40gals is a pretty big black tank and the only thing that drains into the rear grey tank is the shower in rear bathroom so more showers.

You would need a gray tank behind the axels. That is why it drains into the black tank.

I have 2 black and 2 grey tanks. 1 black and 1 grey in front of axel and one each behind the axel.

Still unanswered.
What will you do with the now full gray tank?
