Removing Dinette Mirror

Has anyone cleanly removed the mirror behind the dinette in one of the models that came with them? Other than demoing it out, I can't figure out how to unfasten it. The backside of the wall contains the bathroom cabinets and there's nothing to see there, in so far as fastening the mirror to the wall.

TIA

Mine is mounted with mirror clips at the four corners.

Just removed the mirror in our Hurricane. Those 4 clips plus some double side stcky material hold it up. Pried gently from each corner and it came off. Thicker than double side tape, that goo would hold even without the clips. I peeled most of the sticky crap off, but didn't try to get it all. Most any solvent will leave a big faded pale spot.

We had holes from removing the L shaped sofa, so we wallpapered both walls with the self stick stuff. And our marriage survived!

Thanks, as always. I don't see any clips so they must be hidden until you pry as Sunshine suggests.

Assuming you weren't looking for an excuse

What I was sort of what I was thinking (prying). I didn't want to break the glass though, not knowing what I might find and possibly having to reinstall. I suspect fading and wallpaper is a good idea. I'll have to pray I find a decent match.

Thanks again, and good luck on that marriage thing

I removed the mirror in my Quantum sprinter they had above the kitchen counter. They had attached with double sided tape. It took me and a male, strong friend to pull off/pry it off and it did take off some of the wallpaper with the tape. It was a struggle. The back of the mirror had a coating and label stating shatter free or something like that.
Just be patient and use a pry bar that you slide along as it starts to separate. Good luck!

I pried ours off with just fingers, a pry bar will surely break it. Mine came off without brea, but cracked when I set it on the floor in my garage.

My mirror didn’t break and I’m going to repurpose in a spot I feel it is better suited. The tape they used was so strong the only way we could get it iff was two working it by hand and sliding the pry bar behind the edge of wood frame to break the tape seal… Very carefully…

This is a pic of another unit showing mirror and where it was.
