Renovation complete w/ pictures

Hi all. Wanted to show what roughly 2 years of renovations look like. We love this coach!!! It is a 2012 Thor Serrano 34M front engine diesel, bath and a half.

We began by giving it good bones by to include:

Lifetime roof, new skylight, vent covers, LED headlights, generator overhaul, new 6V batteries (double the original amps), slide overhaul, new slide awnings, slide motors, solar prep, electrical and plumbing repairs, Truma tankless water heater, new slide seals, and leveling system repairs. Had some soundproofing and heat protection on my doghouse (front engine diesel) added, nice and quiet up front. Removed rear ladder and had painted.

On the “make it functional side” we added:

MCD powered shades, TPMS, wheel-well "rock lights', WiFi booster, digital TV antenna, A/C silencers, new Micro-Air thermostat, and A/C soft starts, and electric cord reel.

On the “fun side” we installed:

A beautiful laminate floor, new carpet, fireplace, upgraded my sound system, new larger LED smart TVs, stereo, changed out all valances, and installed new captains chairs. All furniture reupholstered in Ultra Leather. New LED lights throughout, including all bins outside.

Only thing new is the captains chairs. As we were doing all this is when Flexsteel pulled out of the RV business. We have an L-shaped couch that extends out as well so we had everything reupholstered in Ultra Leather. That stuff is really nice; very soft and comfortable yet not cold BUT very expensive. A 30 yard bolt of it was right around 3K two years ago. We used every inch of it on a the L-shaped couch and U-shaped dinette. The leftover scraps were even used on the valances and headboard.

The captains chairs are new. We had ordered from Villa in CA and waited over a year before I finally cancelled. Ended up getting some from a local company in Elkhart; they are pretty nice.

Great question… We had it prepped for solar but have not made the leap yet. Wife prefers “glamping” with full hook ups so we will see. That being said we have found ourselves boondocking more than we thought we would. Did go from 2 12V to 4 6V so we did double our amps and did overhaul the Onan 6.0 generator so we do have that.

You are a craftsman! That's beautiful. We have the exact motorhome. We had it upholstered, valances, new wood table, but it pales in comparison. We do love it though. Happy travels.

We waited over a year for Villa in CA, finally gave up. These are from Superior Seats in Elkhart, IN. Was told "8-10 wks" but was closer to 4 months. Pretty pleased with their quality and comfort. Both are electric and heated. Passenger side reclines with a footrest. opted to skip the massage option as these were expensive enough.
