I did not get extra: The ARC from Amazon comes with the two screw mounting ends (only two of them).

New Shower Curtain
Just wanted to point out this shower curtain option I ran across last night. I haven't tried it out as you need to pre-order, but it looks like a good option for both types of shower curtain rods found in the 24.1.
https://curvi.co/products/space-creating-shower-liner
Let me know if the link doesn't work for some reason.

Looks interesting. From the video, it seems to be set up for a tub, so I am not sure it will stay inside our low shower lip on the bottom. If it does, and the shower rod holders work on the flat, curved shower rod in the new Axis, it might be a worthwhile addition.

Thanks to JamieGeek and VKB for the input on the shower rod upgrade. Ordered the Amazon "ARC" as suggested by Jamie and it arrived as described. For the inside wall next to the medicine cabinet, I used hollow door anchors - easy to install and no danger of penetrating the bedroom wall. I was also able to use them on the outisde wall. I did get luck enough to hit one metal stud so the pack of 5 hollow door anchors from Lowes did the job. Just need to patch the 12 holes from the original track - Almond Color silicone caulk and it should look as good as new. The shower will gets its first use with the new rod on a trip to Fredricksburg in a couple of weeks.

Curtain Track for Axis 24.1

Hi Guys,
You have such great ideas with this bath mod.
I found another option on Amazon and chose to give it a shot. It is plastic curtain track that comes in a 6 ft length that you just cut to fit. I decided to not go crazy with the extra space and keep the ARC a bit smaller. I used a microfiber curtain that will not stick to you wet body and dries quickly.
The Track is available on Amazon by the seller VRSS for only 14 dollars
The Curtain was purchased at Bed Bath & Beyond and made by Splash.
Very easy install as it is easy to bend to the curve you want and fastens right to the ceiling using some of the existing holes.
Pictures attached.
Randy

Randy,
Nice Mod. If I can keep to my New Years's diet Resolution I'll get the final fix for the small shower (a smaller me)!

Randy,
I have toyed with adding additional an extra shelf somewhere in the Bathroom. That side to the sink looks promising. Was that a pre-fab job or did you make it from scratch?

Folding Shelf
Doc,
The shelf was just a cutting board from Walmart or other store.
The folding shelf brackets were from Amazon. 2 pcs or $12.99
I just need to add a coat of semi gloss polyurethane.
Randy

Randy,
Thanks. Would you have the part number for those brackets?
I was looking to do something like that over the toilet paper dispenser...the DW needs elbow room for make-up and hair supplies in the morning.

That flip out table has been discussed in the Axis/Vegas mods thread (several of us have installed variations of one):
