This is like the tool kit I got for my fifth birthday.
Of course finding the box was pretty neat, but there wasn't anything I could do with it.
So now it's a minibar.
There're four or five more around here. When I come across them I'll post them up.

I'm a bit tired of having very cool things that take 90 minutes to explain why they're cool.
That said:
I have a john deere 140 h3 patio long steering shaft with loader, Gannon, patio white front blade, hydraulics front and rear.
Top top top of the line collectable. I'm not sure but I think the serviceable seat is the patio yellow seat. This is a returned to deere factory green repainted(patios were white, deere buyers hated it, some dealers sent them back to the deere factory when still new for tear down and repaint) . I have another nonpatio 140h3 to go with it. Serviceable, ran when parked.
Every box to check is checked on this little tractor.
Stored indoors all but a small part of its life, factory paint. I'll guess 100hrs on it. Original rear tires.
I know it's a long shot but I'd rather offer it here for one of you to steal than do anything else.
Free delivery almost anywhere.
It's a very niche collectable.
No pics needed.
It's is or it isn't.
If you don't know, you don't want it.

We bought one new back in 68 and used it until about 2010 mowing a 5 acre yard. Seems like it had 5 v belts on the rascal. The only real thing we had was a rusted out gas tank over the years from condensation. did change quite a few belts though
Really well built and now quite the classic Lawn/Garden Tractor

The mower deck has what's called a mule that Mounts to the front pto and Wraps backwards some damn way. I've never seen one. It either had three or four on idlers or it's 12 feet long.
Everything else is hydraulic.
It has a real three point and a real hydraulic pto.
It's a real tractor in garden size.
I bought one for tractor shows and bought the other to put a motoguzzi or ww2 Drone or whacked vw twin opposing engine in it for parades.
Those days are gone without ever happening.
I just recently traded a little gilson/wards/Ford lawn tractor I had accumulated 65ish mustang pony gt stuff for. Pony seat material, rally pak, gt light bar as headlights. Mini mustang tail lights, all in a box ready to install.
Cute as hell. Traded it for $30 worth of stuff cause that s all the guy had.
I'm a really easy trade.
I'm doing a reassessment.
Life is moving fast.
I don't want to leave a mess.
At 63years old I'll be 90years old ten times faster than when I was six and became 9.
I want it to go like this:
Him 'are you ducks daughter?'
Her 'Yes.'
Him 'your parents died in an rv wreck, sorry'
Her ' are you calling from their home town? Do You know a realtor?'

Well,
That didn't last long.
I sent a text to guy who bought the Ford tractor with the mustang stuff.
He's still not working and scrounging around for income.
He sold a broken tractor yesterday and just happened to have 30% of what those two will wholesale sell for, while still unloaded from the trailer, at the next tractor show before the show even opens.
Done deal.
He'll make a wad of money and I'll feel better about them finding a home where they sure won't be appreciated more, but they'll have someone new to fawn over them.
I now have
Big Empty Drawer where spares were kept/oddities accumulated.
90+sqft of floor space opened up.
Two gas engines and 8 tires and two batteries the HELL off the property.
Hopefully a favor to follow if I ever need a favor.
Tomorrow morning.
Other things I'll sell or trade cheap:
Vintage museum type 1950's and 60's scuba rarities.

Gone.
Started on the first tooth and idles at 300rpm like a little locomotive after a one year sit.
He got to steal it, I made it go away, he's in love and my love has found another home.
It was one of those things which take 15 minutes to explain why it's cool.
And now it's an empty spot in the garage.
And
He took BOTH of them.
2xHappy on both ends of this deal.
(the hoods up on the zr2 because I get rats under the hood if I don't.)
Honest to God, no bull, one of them last year chewed the power wire off of the 'rats don't like the noise' electronic box... And chewed nothing else. Appearantly or was disturbing their neighborhood.)

Wow, you got me beat in the high desert by a few degrees! It's "only" 108 here - downright chilly!

I've Scuba dived all over the world.
About 2 percent of divers have ran into me somewhere.
They'll remember me because of the vintage chrome regulators and octopus.
And
The long sleeve white dress shirts and full body rash guard I wore to dive in.
Pinchline:
I brought long underwear tops and bottoms to swim in out here.
I'm no ginger, but I all but explode in the sun.

Warranties on rv’s
Didn’t know where to post this..
I’m going to be new to the RV world.. I’m taking delivery in Nov ‘20. I feel like I’m a sucker for extended warranties. I always go for them and seems that it never works out by the time I have to use them. After reading about some experiences in these forums, I feel like I’m definitely going to experience some sort of problems. I know my rv comes with a 1 yr warranty.. but do you all get the extended warranties? The tire and rim warranty? Roadside sounds important, is it? What do you all recommend?

The truck part of it all is pretty bullet proof.
If a warranty cost $5,000 and you have the cash, save the cash for repairs.
If a warranty cost is $5,000 and you never have the cash, buy the warranty.
It's not so much a warranty as it is a failsafe for lack of funds to do a repair.
$15,000 is a new engine and trans.
$5,000 makes it a 3 to1 bet.

We have a saying in arizona:
It's always windy here because California sucks.
Today, California blows.
Pics from near the grand canyon.
With California blowing, and without California Blowing.

Same thing happening in Southern Oregon. Smoke is thick today because California is once again on fire.

Well, I now know where the summer heat went. It is 88 degrees here in South Texas at 2:30 pm CDT. 5 mph of wind out of the SW gusting to 8. Low stratus overcast leftover from the morning showers. A nice break from the 102+ last week.

107°f yesterday.
We have a frost warning tonight at 31°f
Welcome to 7,000ft in a national forest.
I'm setting up my diesel cab heater in the greenhouse tonight.
https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B07YF...?ie=UTF8&psc=1
It will also live in the basement of the 24.1 as auxiliary heat if ever needed.
If I had a diesel coach I'd have one of these built into every heater register.
If fits in the gator also.
It'll ride in my tractor when I'm using the damn 3point, have to drive the tractor in reverse, snow blower.
The best for tents.
Absolutely wonderful when working under a vehicle.
