All I can say is "wow", lots of work but it's going to be an amazing outcome.

This is exactly what I’m doing as well. My new 22” BS with hood and stand will replace my crappy portable Coleman gas grill (I never did like that thing) in the motorhome. But, in the meantime, it’s on my patio and I’m experimenting and practicing with it. I love it. Once it goes into the motorhome, I’m gonna get a bigger one to keep at home, just not sure which one. Thinking about the model with the air fryers.

Looking forward to doing most of the cooking while RV’ing on the Blackstone. I always hated to heat up the motorhome by cooking inside. It’s tough enough to keep it cool without adding a bunch of heat to it. I’ve also got a Weber Smokey Joe in the motorhome, so I think I’ll be good to go.

Are you going to use the bottles with it; or remove the regulator and convert it to take a low pressure source of propane?

I added a quick connect fitting between the RV’s propane tank and the regulator (high pressure). So, I can connect a hose to the quick connect fitting and run it to the Blackstone’s regulator, which accepts the 1 lb bottles. That way, I’ve got the choice of hooking up to the RV’s propane tank, or using the 1 lb bottles. If I’m setting up for several days or more, I’ll probably hook up to the tank. If just for one or two meals, I’ll probably use the small bottles.

That sounds like a pretty slick setup; do you have any pictures of how you did it?

No pics now, but I can take some next time I’m at the storage yard.
