Goodby '15 Axis ... was a good ride!

So, instead of Hello ... a goodby for now Thor owner folks

We sold our elusive 24.2 Axis as cold weather started winding down season 3. The Axis journey was fun and essentially issue free.

FWIW... Our next RV adventure is powered by a gasser F250 tug'n a small'ish non-slide TT by the Northwood/Nash's Outdoors RV line (Creek Side 20RQ off-road if interested).

Looks great for 4-season camping off the beaten path, as you've reported doing in the Axis. Lots of water and propane capacity for a trailer that size -- should be able to stay out long time.

Just curious how the truck and trailer will compare to Axis as far as reaching remote sites?

Enjoy. I still miss our 24 ft TT. We towed that thing 73000 miles all over the country and back into the woods with our 4x4 Gas F250. There wasn't too many places we couldn't boondock or camp.

We had a Nash 22H when we ordered the Axis. This new TT is basically a similar length with more ground clearance, shocks and an island bed that the last 6 or 7 RV's haven't had. I didn't get around to doing a spring over conversion some previous TTs got because we picked up that pre-owned 22H as a temporary RV while we looked for a smallish motorhome that ended up being the Axis Our previous trailers have all pulled excellent and we took them much further off the beaten path than I'd ever dare attempt/endure with the Axis.

Since we've a long history of changing RVs often (TT,TC,TH,C,B,B+,RUV,etc...), there's a good chance we could be back in the Thor family a few years from now! LoL

That TT looks really nice, well thought out, and has features I’ve never seen before.
