Hurricane 29x

7 months as a newbie. Not sure what a home is supposed to drive like. Seems that it tracks well and am not sure what to look for in chassis improvement. Have read a lot about replacing shocks or reinforcing the suspensions. Is this a common problem with the new f53??

Hi David, and welcome to the forum.
I don't know how bad your situation is or isn't, but you know what the old saying is----"if it ain't broke don't try and fix it"

Maybe wait awhile until you are more familiar and comfortable with your new unit. Then see what you think.

Any one had difficulty with a shower leaking both into the coach and onto the ground. Have checked the water to the shower and the pump doesn't run with all the faucets closed and the shower doesn't leak if you have the water to the wand turned on with the end valve on the wand closed. So. I think it's coming frome the shower pan or the drain connection. Had it winterized and dewinterized at the dealer any other ideas?

If it's still under warranty, I would get it in to the dealership asap for a leak. Leaks can be the death of an rv.

Bathroom sink

Does the bathroom sink drain to the black tank in a 2014 29 x hurricane?? Sure seems to be the path. No odor problem just seems different

Hurricane 29x

I have a 2013 hurricane 29x and yes my shower leaked. Had a dealer check the drain seal and it was pinched. They removed the front wooden panel. No way I could reach that far under to get to the drain. I don't have a problem with the pump. After it reaches pressure it shuts off until I turn on any water faucet.

Happy travels!
Tom

Don't like the bathroom sink draining in to black tank, fill up to quick if keep the water running while brushing teeth, etc. If there was a way to re plumb the bath sink to gray water I would, waaay to much work.

I totally agree!! The designers obviously have not stayed in one or they would see their flaws. To name another one the outside compartment that has the nice slide out tray; when I lift the door it covers the outside receptacle. They could have moved it over 2" and would be perfect.

Regarding the bathroom sink draining into the black tank; the advantage is that the more "clean" water that you get into the black tank the better it is for tank maintenance. Most RV'ers learn quickly not to let the sink water running while brushing teeth.

My 34j is under the outdoor kitchen sink. There is a panel that opens and there are two pull valves and one turn valve. If you have an outdoor kitchen you might start there.
