Aria 3901 Key Remote

So my coach came with a remote key fob and during the walk-through it was never mentioned. Only noticed it later attached to all of the many keys for the coach. I tried it at the door and heard what sounded like a locking sound. However, it did not lock/unlock the door. What is this key fob for?

Mine didn't work because a part was delayed when mine was delivered but Thor sent parts to a local repair shop and I had it fixed under warranty. It locks and unlocks the entry door and now the door will lock when I shift into drive.

Perhaps new batteries might make it work?

Failing that, suggest you call the service manager back where you bought it.

I have that clear plastic pipe door handle with numbers under it.. Looks like a depth gage.. I didn't use it for a while and tried to one day.. It sounded like a sick pig.. Upon opening the keypad i found it was wet inside and lots of green gew inside. washed it out with vinegar and spray deoxit. After pushing the remote several times the door lock came to life.. Put a small film of silicone on my finger and made a small seal around the key cap..

Make sure the gold contacts on the inside of the door frame are popped out. If they are stuck in the door frame it doesn't get any power for the remote to work on the door.
