Welcome to the group. Let us know about the unit and about Disney World.

Driving back from Indianapolis on interstate 70 this last Sunday, my wife and I spotted an axis traveling west bound. An hour later we spotted a Vegas traveling west bound as well.

Picked up our Baby Beast on June 1. Maiden voyage will be a trip to Yellowstone NP for the family middle of July.

Saw an Axis at the Pilot Travel Center at I-10 and Craycroft in Tucson AZ last week. It was towing a cute little red older SUV...could not i.d. it, but sure would like to have seen the folks and asked what they were towing!

While traveling south on Hwy 65 in Clinton, Ar we saw an Axis with a white tow car headed north. 65N is a well traveled route to popular tourist destination Branson, Mo. We saw numerous motorhomes and camper trailers headed north on 65 today. That is the first Axis we have seen on the road since this thread was started. We did see several on our trip to Naples, Fl this past December.

We pulled into a KOA near Minneapolis, and spotted a Vegas owner from Ohio setting up. Took a quick pic as we crossed paths. I'll invite them to join the forum, if we get to visit. Click image for larger version

That would have been sweet. No we're on opposite sides from the office/rec center. First V or A we've seen, except for the one with us at the factory tour.

I'm still "getting ready to order" an Axis one of these days. I'm curious though, besides the cost of the MH or the mortgage payment and gas to travel, what does it cost to own the MH so far. I'm looking for incidental costs i haven't thought of yet. I figure insurance at around 60 a month. Thanks.

You will have some variable costs that will depend on usage. These include vehicle services, propane, and anti freeze if you are in an area with cold winters.

Also, for some there is the added "personal property tax" or "ad valorem" that is assessed on motor homes. In Virginia it is assessed annually and depending on the county or city of residence can range from 0 to 4.00 per 100 of assessed value.

Did you by any chance consider the 25.1 when you were looking. And wondered why you chose the 24.1 Thanks

When we got our 24.1 there was only one floorplan available: the 24.1.

Thor added more floorplans about 6 months after we had our 24.1.

We saw a Vegas pulling a white SUV, North of Detroit on I75 on Saturday. Didn't catch it soon enough to get a good look, not safe to take more than a glance. Now I am wondering if it was an Axis, and the same one that 3shooter saw near Branson earlier. Hmmm...

Wasn't ours...we were on the road Friday and Sunday--even crossed over I-75 but weren't pulling anything.
