Sanitizing

Sanitizing day. Never thought about it before, but can I sanitize with my rig closed up? I am in storage and would prefer to not have to open up the slides.

And, suggestions on how to get the bleach into the tank? Can I use the housing for my in-line filter?

You should be able to sanitize with the slides in. Don't you have a gravity fill for your FW tank?

Still learning. I have a few overflow hoses at the top of the tank but they are small diameter. I have not found a gravity feed.

Well if you don't have a gravity tank fill (and some RVs do not), I've heard some just pour the bleach into the water hose before connecting and filling.

Most rigs without gravity fill have a water station with one or more valves. The valve or combination of valves should have a sanitize or winterize/sanitize position.

I did the hose fill. Several valves at the water station, eventually I figured it out. Thor should provide clear directions by Model.

Speaking of this, does anyone know where the inline fresh water drain valves are on a '22 34J? Ive checked the usual spots and cant find them so I've been draining into grey then dumping.

My schematic suggests that the low point is the outside shower nozzle next to the tank drains. I don't see valves there. Perhaps they're suggesting I run that nozzle to drain it, although it seems like that would take quite awhile.
