False Gray/Black tank readings

Windsport 29M 2019
With tanks empty, still reads 37% or 67%. Dealer has changed out all senors only to still get false readings. Not sure if it could a solfware issue or a G9 box loose wire. Help🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔

Is it still under warranty? If so, make em fix it.

My experience with black water tanks is, It's hard to keep that gauge accurate but I don't worry about that one. First burp from the toilet means it needs to be dumped.
I've never had much trouble with the fresh and grey water gauges.

Same here. I think the black water gauge ends up being inaccurate in every rv I've ever owned.

We have the same problem in our 2020 29m, but I don't think the sensor is wrong. To test, we started to add water via the toilet using 1 gallon milk jugs. Around 14 would be a third of the tank. Doing this raised the level on the monitor. This tells me that we have something stuck in the tank. To add to the frustration, it seems like the flush is just going around whatever is in there. Last time we had this issue we just filled it with fresh water and let it set for a bit. It finally dumped clean.

After a while; it gets easier to just keep track of it by "guesstimations"...
It's just about as accurate.

Here is what we do and it keeps the tanks fairly clean and the sensors working reasonably well.....

Black Tank

I use the San-T-Flush port to fill the black tank twice with water after the initial dump. You would be surprised to see the debris still coming out of the tank on the second fresh water flush. This makes it take longer to dump but I find the time well spent to keep the black tank as clean as possible and to minimize odors.

I then add 5 gallons of water and then add Calgon Water softener, some Dawn dish soap and black tank treatment. The Calgon makes the water very slippery and this mix splashes around the walls of the tank as we drive to help keep the sensors and tank as clean as possible

Gray Tank

Grease from food can build up on the walls of the tank and the sensors and cause bad readings. We will also treat the gray tank occasionally with this mixture to breakdown the grease and keep the tank as clean as possibly to minimize odors.
