Getting Ready For A Trip

Since we're heading out for Labor Day week: we started loading the camper, cleaning it up, and getting it ready.
Psrt of the effort involved figuring out a way to keep an eye on Tink: if we leave her in the rig for a couple of hours.
We found this camera: Eyenimal Pet Vision HD, and decided to give it a try...
It's internet based; so I guess we're out of luck if a campsite is "blind"...
But for $90: it was worth a shot!
setup was pretty easy: I got it up and runniung, and the app installed on both phones on the first shot
It can capture pictures, video, sound, and even has a microphone so you can really scare unsuspecting visitors.
I would probably even make a decent security system...
Look what I caught snooping around in the camper! I'm calling the Cops, and then going to administer a good beating to this neer-do-well!

I have two of these Amcrest cameras in my coach to keep an eye on the dog and to keep an eye on the coach as well:

Their app has a lot of functionality as well like the one you bought. You can...

- Rotate and move the camera up and down
- It has a speaker and microphone so you can listen and talk to someone in the coach (or say hello to Tink!)
- It has the options for an SD card for recordings
- You can setup an alarm where it will automatically record on movement and send you an e-mail alert

It lets me monitor the temperature (and humidity) in the coach. I have an alert setup that if the temp goes above 82, it sends me a text alert when we are out of the coach so I can make sure it is not too hot for the dog. I use it as an insurance policy in case the shore power goes out, the A/C craps out, etc. It has worked well and the battery life is excellent.
