Got any creative ideas for getting new AC on roof?

I lifted it onto the roof of my Jeep with my sons help. Parked the jeep along the side of the RV (class C, 11.5’ tall) then we lifted it the rest of the way onto the roof.

They have a whole section of automotive winches but the also have this little AC plug in winch.

I have an earlier version (20 years old) that I use for lifting heavy stuff to the top floor of my shop. Works great but I don't think I paid over $80 for mine at the time.

But if you really mean wenches, on occasion they are running the register or stocking the floor.

Yeah, I got that, but included the HF winch info for those that may be interested in that.

I replaced both my roof AC units, rented a manual material lift from Home Depot $55, it fitted in the back of my SUV for transport. Had everything ready to go up and old ready to come down, placed new units in place and returned lift before coming back to finish install. Did another on a friends rig I was on the roof with a strap tied around unit more as a safety, my buddy pushed it up the ladder, he did the work. If you do the ladder make sure the top is about level with the roof.
