LED taillight replacement

We have a 16' ACE 29.4 (I'm sure most ACE's are the same?)

Has anyone upgraded their taillights to LED? I was looking on e-trailer but wanted to make sure I got the right ones (their customer service wasn't great). Can someone recommend a site or light?

Ray from Love Your RV did a pretty slick mod. Here's a link to the YouTube video showing how...

Those are surface mount lights soooo, not really applicable to the OP.

I chose Amazon for my rear LED replacements
They’ve worked great and you get two for $80

I have a 2018 Four Wind 22B Class C.

I did the same as taylorbob1.

I was happy to the see the OEM lights had the wiring diagram stamped on the back when I removed them. But I double checked to make sure it was correct with a meter before doing the install.

Does anyone know...does Thor use the same tail lights for all the class A and C RVs?

I replaced ours 2 weeks ago using the the same lights mentioned above but had two issues:

1. Had to order from Amazon because the manufacturer only uses Paypal for pavement (long story.)

2. The wiring color on our Vegas did not match the schematic from the manufacturer so we had to verify all the wiring. I did call the manufacturer to see if they had a quick way to verify to save some time but since we didn't have an order number they would not talk us.

Regarding wiring…
1) take photos along the way so it’s easier to remember colors with functions
2) the old Incandescent lights are fairly easy to diagnose wire to function
3) the wiring diagram on the Amazon website helps as well
4) when in doubt, use a 12 volt test lamp

I did mine abt 2 yrs ago, but once I figured out the color scheme by using a test lamp it went very smoothly

I have a question, when you put LEDs on a car or truck they work great but the turn signals go 90 mph because they don't have a resister built into them. Are you saying these work good when the turn signals are on?

These blink normally
Vs
Adding LED bulbs to an existing incandescent light housing…some vehicles aren’t properly set up so you get the super fast blink

It’s easier to remove the red cover. Remove the bulbs tape the end of the plugs off and paint the crap black with chrome paint. Far less costly for your picket

Thanks, I think I will try it by connecting the wires and if it works fine on mine I will make the change. Years ago on my car I purchased led replacement taillight and turn signal bulbs and they flashed very fast but the brake light worked fine for a week and a guy pulled in behind me a week later and told me none of the lights worked on the back of the car. I went into the store and put in oem bulbs and they work perfect. My utility trailers I always put on LEDs
