We need to find a campground and a weekend: we'd keep everybody wondering what the heck just rolled into Town!

Had Thor under warranty send camping world a honeycomb grill that they installed behind the standard grill. This seems to have eliminated most of the high pitched whine issue we had.

Digger, We drive a 2016 Windsport 31S and had the same sort of noise, from day 1. The seller tried sealing the front edge of the pax side window. Didn't work! Took it to Wakarusa and technician attempted to seal every opening under the hood. Didn't work! CW even tried pressurizing the inside with a "smoke" indicator and found some leaks around the marker lights, so sealed them. Didn't work! Quite innocently we mentioned it to a fellow caravan traveler. They confessed they had the same noise and accidentally unlocked one of the front side windows, AND IT STOPPED! So that's what we do. I think the severity of the noise is the wind you're traveling in.

Wind noise

I had same problem. When I opened the driver and passenger window just a hair, it stopped. Good luck!

Wind noise

I have a 2015 Thor Super C. It is very quiet going down the road in terms of wind noise. I had a 2009 Jaco that was terribly noisy. What I finally discovered with the Jaco is that the driver’s side door of the Ford chassis was not fitted properly. I would try taking it to the dealer to check that out.

Congratulations! That same sound keeps coming from the passenger's seat in mine.

wind noise

I have also wind noise in my Chateau. I don't get much if any below 50 MPH but it is bad at 60 and worsen if I go faster. I believe the aerodynamic pressure is lifting the seal gasket at the forward edge of the slide-out. Next time I make a trip I plan to seal the slide-out with 2" masking tape and see what happens. If that proves my theory I will add a wind deflector in front of the slid-out.

wind noise

Id suggest having a COMPETENT windshield business to check to see if exterior rubber moulding is secure and placed properly. After replacing a windshield and having it adequately seated and sealed, we found that noise inside cab was reduced.

Tom at Thor sent me some screen mesh for our 2018 Windsport 29 m. Helped that noise but have other noises that I'm still working on. This is a large box going 60+ mph down the road, not a Volvo. You just may have to deal with it to a point. Like the Eagles sing, " Get over it"

Actually, the Volvo Class 8 tractor is one of the quietest trucks on the road. Smooth machine!! But, it too was manufactured by a commercial truck company...not camper carpenters.

Tuscany

We used to have a Super C with wind noise .... my husband put putty where indentions from screws were on the door to make it smooth — after that total silence and also had to smooth screws on side mirror with putty ..... once it was all smooth ...., no wind noise
