What is this??

I have a 2018 Freedom Elite 24FE. The 1st pic is that black panel with a door. (It’s behind the propane tank compartment door) When you open the door there’s a white PVC pipe. The 3rd pic was taken upside down laying on my back. There’s no markings on it as to what it may be. I tried to see if a sewer hose would fit. Nope… It comes back has a 90 degree elbow then goes about 15 inches or so. There’s nothing hooked to it, it just dead ends. Does anyone know what this pipe is for??

Looks homemade, so no telling what they used it for.

It is for storage of your sewer hose.

However.... in Thor's infinite wisdom they made it so small so it is unusable unless you remove the connections at the end of the hose, which no one would ever do. And it will only hold one section of hose as well.

I have read people have used it to store fishing poles and other items.

On my old Outlaw 29H, it was next to the bin that had my transfer switch and power cord. I used it to mount a 30A twist lock connector so I could just pull my power cord out of the bin and plug in versus trying to pull the cord through the small opening in the bin and then fishing it back in when I was ready to leave.... which was so much fun in rain and mid!

Thanks Judge. I thought ah ha! sewer hose storage, then I tried to put a sewer hose in and was confused as to what it was for at that point.

if you have room, you can open up the end and add another piece of pipe and a plug with holes in it for drainage and then be able to put 2 10 foot sewer hoses in it.
i had one like that on my tuscany and it got KNOCKED off or fell off some wheres . it was there when we left a cg, then it was not when we stopped at a rest area a few hundred miles down the road. I dont remember running over it, so maybe it slid out under and scared the crap out of a following vehicle

so i made a new one that hangs off basement floor and allows me to carry (2) 20 foot built up hoses.

Looks like a backup pee port if your black tanks are full on the road. Act like you're working on the propane tank and let er rip.
