Portable camp grill hookup

We received a Cuisinart portable grill to use with our 2022 Thor Tranquility. I need to order a quick connect hose to run from the external hookup on the Thor to the grill. Do I have to take off/modify the regulator on either the Camper or the grill, or is the external hookup already high pressure?

Do you have a quick connect on the RV? If you do you will need to remove the regulator from the grill because the quick connect is already regulated.

I had a quick disconnect on my previous MH but all worked as it should without any modifications. It was pretty much "plug and play" as purchased from Camping World unless the grill was just set up that way without a regulator?

Be advised however there is a recall on many of the quick disconnect fittings but not many details about it but wanted to make sure you were aware.

If your grill has a regulator & you're connecting to the factory QD your grill will burn but with a very small flame even set to high, you might get a hamburger patty cooked in a day.

try propanewharehouse.com Yes you will need to remove the regulator on the grill. We did it for our grill and works great. 10 foot hose, quick fit attachment for the grill.

Propane run extended

I tapped into a low pressure propane line nearest to my intended quick-disconnect. Ran the new line to my Blackstone and added 8' so I can attach my firepit. Removed the griddle and firepit regulators and added quick connects to them. Love this setup.

Yes, try it before making any changes. I have used an extended hose with the quick connect on three Rv s without changing any regulators. The gas regulator on your Rv will reduce the pressure to the standard LP pressure.
