Someone just pulled up. The awing is stuck in a tree.

Is that a campground or a parking lot?

I hope that is your wife's feet in the photo and you are not wearing blue toenail polish.

I carry a lot of tools.... but a saw is not one of them. Maybe I need to consider adding one to the arsenal????

The best tool is a bottle of Captain Morgan Rum...
It makes everything better!

Bob you forgot the best thing about Captain Morgan Rum. If used, you can do anything with anything you have or so you think.

I have a saw and large leveraged cutter

Over the years they have been very handy in several poorly maintained camp grounds which were last choice and only available

Saws are a lot of fun...
They give you the opportunity to drop branches on the roof of your rig.. and the guy's roof who is set up next to you!

Need a metal blade to cut the awning. Tree limb blade is useless on awning arms. And yes the owner deserves to loose the awning and by through their nose for even a scratch on the tree.

Nothing but pure unadulterated stupidity at play here.

Kind of hard to tell exact what's happening but it looks to me just pulling forward might free up the RV and awning. No it's not going to be damage free.
