Brake fluid

Planing our maiden voyage I’m still trying to discover where all vital
components aside from discovering that the radiator overfill had no cap so do you fill the radiator by over filling the overflow unit? i found the brake reservoir but how the heck do you add brake fluid if needed i cant see how it can be done how deep and high it is so please let me know the secret

For the over flow, I fill to the cold level, then check it when the engine warms up. On my F-53 based chassis, the brake reservoir is hard to get to also. I shine a light thru the reservoir to assist in checking as the fluid is clear.
