Hurricane dinette table dent

I have a small nick (1/4 "wide 1/8" deep) in the side of my 2016 Hurricane dinette table. Does anyone have a recommendation of what I might use to repair it?

Was thinking colored epoxy repair kit...

No help from me but your post got me thinking about memories. In the of the 'Cars' movies they were gonna fix some dents Mater had but he said no because each dent was a memory of a good time spent with friends.

I'd do a practice patch on some scrap wood. If on the actual patch the color ends up not being a perfect match, so what!

Pictures would help. Context is everything.

I actually have a brand new spare table. The Dealer removed my table to square the bench where it converts into a bed, but during the process they strip the wood on the bottom so it was not as stable as it once was. They claimed it was repaired, but I squealed like a pig and the WBGO sent me the table as Goodwill. I took the old one off to replace and once I saw how it was done, I put in some wood filler in all of the holes, waited a few days, and remounted and it was better than when new. Not sure where I stored the new table, but it is still in packaging if I ever get nicks

Our original one was getting shabby. Peeling, nicked, etc. A local wood shop made us a solid 1" thick walnut replacement for a very reasonable price. Really a nice upgrade for less than $125.

This was my thought too. I’d look at this as an opportunity to replace the cheap Formica covered plywood table top. Can’t wait till mine disintegrates.
