sani flush
Ok I'm a newbie, took our Thor Quantum LC27 for a short stay (2 nights) went to dump tanks, did that ok, but when I tried to use the sani-flush, I couldn't get anything to happen....no water going in. What did I do wrong?

Maybe nothing. New or used?
There is or should be a one way vacuum breaker which goes bad often. It is usually mounted under the bathroom sink. That is the first thing to check.
Google Sani flush vacuum breaker and there are a bunch of videos on checking and replacing.

Thor has been known to install vacuum breakers and check valves backwards.

Dumped black tank, and then connected my cleaning hose to san-t-flush connection. Turned the water on to flush and the water would not go into tank.
It has 360 Siphon vent caps, if that has anything to do with it.

Sounds to me like the vacuum break is installed backwards - or EXTREMELY stuck closed. Next project - find the vacuum breaker.
P.S. The 360 Siphon vent caps are not connected to this issue. They are the "caps" on top of the waste tank vent pipes which protrude through your RV roof.

When I first started using the San T Flush on my new Axis, I was surprised at how little water it used and the fact that low pressure supply (like less than 30 lbs) supplied very little water.
Obviously the holes in its spray pipe are small and it takes lots of pressure to push enough water through to be meaningful. With decent pressure, 45+ lbs, I could easily keep up with the outflow with a coffee cup.
So make sure your water supply is high enough. Also if your coach isn't level, it can take a while for the level to rise and come out the black water valve.

I've had a new rig where the vacuum breaker was installed backwards from the factory, 'Turn it around and all will be well. They fail very seldom. It will probably be mounted somewhere close to the shower area, as it has to be elevated to work properly. Mine is directly behind the shower and accessible thru an inspection plate. DO NOT follow the advice of any yahoo on here that tells you to remove it and install a piece of pipe in it's place. Unsafe and stupid. Good luck
Bill

I know it is a new rig and supposed to work, but why clean your poop tank? It's is just gonna fill with poop again.

I tried that approach with cleaning my room when a teenager... didn't go well.

The first time probably seems a little less daunting when there is only a little poop?

Ours works great. I hook it up and turn it on, then open the passenger side valve, then the main valve. I let it run until clear, close the passenger side valve and let it fill to 1/3 - 1/2 and open the valve. Again, run until clear. I turn off the Sani-Flush and let it drain. Close the passenger side valve and then the main valve and proceed to the gray water tank. When it's done, I close the valve, disconnect the flex hose and rinse it.
After that, I put the black water tank cocktail in the john and give it a good flush.
