Yeah I would figure the mid to upper priced DP would be awesome. But I really expected the entry level DP to be a little better than the best Gas coach with spring ride.

Best thing to do if one is looking at a new DP is drive 5+ different ones that you can afford in addition to your favorite Gas coach before you make your decision.

Looks like most entry level DP are around 300 - 350 HP and like 600 - 660 TQ but once you get into the 400HP range TQ is up around 1000 - 1250.

But also the price go up.

it's not the motor that makes the coach.... it's the suspension...entry level coaches have entry level air bags and valving...a leaf spring coach has more wheel travel.... and more droop...the theory in air bag is it will adjust automatic to load conditions... where as springs just compress... to get a smooth ride, the suspension need to be soft..and let the shocks absorb the bumps...how fast the air bags react , the valving... that's what tells the ride... when you hit bump, the air bag compresses...when that happens it hits the air valve and lets more air in ..making the bag stiffer...if you hit a nother bump , before the valving gets a chance to re set you have a harsh bang that is transferred to the MH chassis...

Good to know.... I was assuming the the higher price that everything (including suspension) would be better. Plus some have independent front suspension and some dont.
