Well we're back from our whirlwind trip to Colorado and Utah.
Short list of adversity: Air cleaner popped open causing check engine light and engine surging--fixed that (could have been worse), our Jensen gave up the ghost (this was a slightly better Jensen than the one that came with the coach..kind of surprised it lasted that long), a mama mouse decided to have her babies in the armrest of our couch (managed to corral the family and evict them--no other evidence in coach of other interlopers), immediately after that got swarmed by bees...oh well (didn't get stung).
Oh and I-70 over the mountains in Colorado is a pain (and that isn't counting the mudslides--we managed to get through in between them).
Got over 1400 pictures of which I will now post
them all!--just kidding.
Some highlights:
The two lines noted by my hiking pole denote the KT boundary (which isn't called the KT boundary anymore LOL). The top of the bottom white line is where the layer of iridium left by the meteroite that hit in Mexico and killed the dinosaurs is. So above that line people (sort of) and below that line dinosaurs (sort of). Trinidad Lake State Park in Colorado is the best place on Earth to see this.
Need to post this one in the Sunset topic!
