Stayed across the street at Hilton Head Harbor RV Resort years ago. At that time we had a fifth wheel, and couldn't stay at the Hilton Head Island Motorcoach Resort. You can't go wrong with either one. Some of the finest RV accommodations you will find anywhere. Enjoy!
Bad decisions make great stories!
We have stayed here on several occasions. It is very nice and the amenities are very good. Pool is nice and heated in winter. Hot tub, laundry, etc are all high end. However, it is also pricey so you may want to join FMCA before you go to get the discount. We have stayed in all areas of the park at different times. The waterfront (small lagoon) is pretty but in my opinion not worth the extra money. They have a small dog park and close to restaurants. All sites are individually owned which will determine what it has on it for extras and how it is landscaped. Overall the park is beautiful and we will be back.
Ditto on the post from jmcjaw2. Great place to stay. We have been going to HHI for years but always stayed on the ocean in a condo before getting our Vegas. You can rent a bike built for 2 for super cheap and it is a short ride to the beach. There are paved trails to get to about anywhere on the island. Sign up for FMCA and the discount will pay for a years membership. Of course we stay for 2 weeks minimum. Their website has just been upgraded last year and was a bit sketchy at first. Use the website to pick out which site you want then call to make reservation. Sites are either pull in or back-in so I would confirm which type you want.
We will be there in October so maybe we will see you there!
