Need a good place to camp around Atlanta Jan 21 for 5 ddays

Twin Lakes in Cumming is a good place to stay. We were there off and on for 4 years. About as convenient as you can get near Atlanta.

We just stayed there last month... Depending on your rig - some of the sites are interesting to get into. Many of the shaded sites (especially Ridgewood Dr) are on a steep hill. I had no issue with my Class A (was an interesting angle as we left...) - but neighbors 5th wheel started to drag his pickup back down the hill...

Convenient location just off GA 400. If coming from north (I-75) - your GPS may take you a back way (off the highway in Tennessee...) Check a map (gasp) for best route.

I've been considering a trip up to stone mountain
Seems like its good
but it IS expensive
and there are a lot of mixed reviews
