2017 Hurricane 31s / Whirlpool Microwave Fan

Hi,

Seeking feedback as to why our microwave fan wont shut off after pushing fan button on microwave control panel. We have a 2017 Hurricane (31s) with a Whirlpool convection oven/microwave.

I just went to lock up and noticed the fan was blowing very hot air and at a high speed (we have not used the microwave in a very long time and not at all today, model is a Whirlpool YWMH31017AB - 5.

Any assistance or feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you

John

Safety feature when they get hot. It should shut off when it cools down

Thank you, we weren't using the stove/oven however, we are in Arizona and it reached 113 degrees yesterday...would this have triggered the fan?

If your microwave is in the direct sunlight (wall facing sun) it can
