Trying to wire two 6 volt batteries in series in a Thor Serrano , did not take picture how the old ones were connected help

Negative post on battery #1 to ground.
Positive post on battery #1 connects to the negative post on battery #2.
Positive post on battery#2 connects to whatever you are powering...

thanks HORK, but it does not help me. looks like 4 6v's. i would assume, expect that 2 are batteries connected in series that connect in parallel to 2 batteries connected in series. for your pict to be more useful i need to see the plus minus designators on all the batteries. thanks

Post 2 shows the correct wiring of 2 6 volt batteries. That’s what the OP asked for.
