Can u help? Rubber flapper in shower drain

Does anyone know how to put the rubber flapper thing for the shower drain back in place?

Our shower was not draining and we thought something was stuck in there like hair and now we seem to have dislodged the trap or flap or whatever it is and now we have horrible smells coming up from the gray tank. If it’s not one thing it’s another. Thanks!!

Pictures would help. I’m not sure about what flap you are talking about. But your shower drain like al drains have traps. The purpose of the trap it to hold water in it, so sewer gasses can not pass the trap.

It's probably a HEPVO trap. You may need to replace it.

You need to make sure your shorwer trap is secure and tight, sounds like you may have broke it apart?
On my Windsport the shower trap is located up above the passanger side rear tire. Take out the 4 screws to gain access. Not sure if its the same on a challanger.
