Fans not working
Hi I have a 2018 Thor Hurricane 34R, the driver and passenger windshield fans are not working. I have looked under the drivers compartment for a blown fuse but can’t seem to find any. The other switches on the panel work, sun shade, gen start and cabin light. all work. I’m out of options, any suggestions???

It will not be a chassis fuse, under the hood may be a Thor installed fuse box... maybe the passenger side area. Some say under the drivers seat.

I have checked all fuses in drivers seat well and also under the "hood", nothing is blown. Any other ideas!

Bad connection. Not all loss of power is a fuse issue.

All the power to the front cap (driver's compartemnt) for Thor MC Plant 750 installed equipent is powered by the chassis battery through a 100 amp, 12 volt CB on the frame rail behind the chassis battery. The acceptions are the power ports and the memory for the dash radio. Thor MC CS will send you a layout digram for the Thor MC fuse and relay panel down by the drivers left foor. The actual circuit board varies by year and options installed. That is where power for the fans orriginated.

I know this thread is a year old, but I have the same issues with the windshield fans in my 2019 34R. I received the diagram from Thor CS, but is shows the fan being powered by a chassis fuse.
Mine still do not work and am at a loss. Without a solution soon, I will feed power to the plug via a direct battery connection with an inline fuse for protection.
I would prefer to find the problem and resolve, but need a fix before we travel again. Thanks in advance for any advice on a solution.

As asked, you tried them with the key "on"? They work with the ignition.
Also, my older Hurricane has a BCC mounted under the hood, this is where the fuse for my fans is located. Some say their 'BCC' is under the driver seat, some in the outside compartment, under the driver seat.

If you do have the Thor MC plant 750 front cap wiring diagram, it does show the circuit from the chassis battery through a 100 amp DC CB in next to the chassis battery. The #6 cable runs to the fuse and relay panel down drivers left foot on the firewall (on my coach).
The fuses are labeled in the diagram and are twin 20 amp fuses labeled windshield defroster. There is a relay in the circuit for an ignition interlock.

Just a follow up, my Hurricane 34R does not have a fuse box under the dash on the left side. I have not looked under the drivers seat for the BCC, not sure what that is, and, of course the ignition is on when checking the fans.
This problem is not with the windshield defroster, that and the heat work fine, but thanks for the suggestion, you never know when that will come in handy.

This came up in another recent thread. The OP found the BCC under the hood and missed it the first time they looked. Here is a pix of their location. Upper left corner labeled FW0675. Albeit an older version of the Hurricane it may still help finding the BCC.

Thanks, the attachment would not open, it was noted as an invalid attachment. I will look again around the the passenger firewall to see if one was added.
Thanks for the info.

Thanks JimOIB, this does not look anything like my 2019 34R. I did look for the BCC under the hood and under the drivers seat with no luck. Thanks for the pic.
I will keep probing the issue and post the results once I find a resolution.

Correct - the attachment link does not work but the good news is - your 2019 does not have/use a BCC.
