Help 1st use water pump

Water pump makes noise and leaks water..I put 15 gallons in fresh tank to test?
In the 25.6 sounds like pump is behind bedroom draws near the fresh water tank..

Is this something I can see fix ?

Double check the floor of the closet, and the outside storage for removable panels, screws in the corners

Is it possibly behind the outside shower box? That's where it is on my 2018 25.3. I've read that you have to remove the shower box to get to it. Looks like that location would be below the back closet. Good luck.

Did you pull the drawers out and look for an access panel there?

I’ve never seen or heard of an RV with an inaccessible pump. The debris screen, at least, needs regular service in my experience. It’s not impossible but I’ll bet you can find some way to get to it. Once you do, the leak probably will be pretty obvious and if you are “handy” you should be able to fix it yourself. Worst case is that the pump housing was cracked due to improper winterizing. Replacing the pump is a pretty straightforward job if it comes to that and not terribly expensive. I’d advise you not to delay. Water damage can happen quickly and can be....troublesome. Good luck.

My 2018 Outlaw 29H had an inaccessible water pump..... well just about inaccessible. It was under the furnace. You had to remove the furnace to gain access to it. You could not even gain access to the strainer without removing the furnace. Fortunately I sold it before I needed to deal with the water pump.

Nothing would surprise me with the way some of these coaches are designed and built.

In my 2016 ACE 30.1 the pump is in the wet bay, clearly visible. If you can't see the pump, how do you know it's leaking AT the pump?

Mine is loud. And if I am parked anywhere near anyone one where we're not hooked up to "city" water, I usually hear their pumps.

Being a 2020, would you still have warranty?

Well then you have 3 choices:
Don't use the onboard water system
Call a mobile mechanic
Take it to a dealer.

I would give Thor a call and ask them. They have at least made an effort to help me when I have called.

Thor has and will authorize non-Thor dealer repairs. I would call and tell them your situation. They will likely ask for an estimate first before authorizing it.

Your other option is to just get it fixed since it is a critical issue (water leak) and then send Thor the bill and request reimbursement.

I one had an issue with my levelers after getting my coach back from the dealer for warranty work. The dealer was 5+ hours away so I did the troubleshooting and determines it was a pressure sensor issue. I ordered one on Amazon for $110 and Thor reimbursed me and just wanted the old part back.

It would not totally surprise me that Thor did not provide easy access to the pump. The shorter the coach the more things they cram into places that are very hard to access. As I said earlier, my water pump was under the furnace and the furnace had to be removed for access.

If that is the case, I would see if the repair shop could create an access panel because this is a maintenance item (cleaning the strainer for example) and pumps do fail.

Whatever you decide to do I suggest you do it promptly. If you had the leak several days ago you might be surprised how much damage has occurred - especially if they pump is inside the finished space. Good luck.
