Lug nut cover tool

I am trying to find the proper tool to remove the lug nut covers on my Four Winds 26B. It is on a E450 chassis and I measured across the cover with a caliper and get about 1 1/8 inches. The first one I ordered was 1 1/2 and way too large. Also, do these covers unscrew or just pop off.

Thanks, Phil

Are you sure the lug nuts remove or do you have wheel covers that just pop off the rim like in the old days?

There are lug not covers that are removable, just trying to find the proper size tool to do it with. Hopefully either Pilot or Flying J will have the correct one. Thanks for the reply.

Might pop off and might not. Could you post a picture of them. Mine have two nuts that lock them on. Mine are 1-1/8. I did find a tool for it after I went out and bought a 1-1/8 socket. The nuts that remove to release the cap have a small dimple on them.

On the road and the photo requires a URL to post and it is on my iPhone. Will try again when I have WiFi.

Been trying to get this posted for 2 days now. Upon closer examination in the daylight, I do believe these are hub caps and not simply lug nut covers. I am on the road and no access to a way to share the pictures of my wheels.

Thanks, Phil

They are for sure not just lug nut covers. Only two of the nut covers would be removable to allow the full wheel cap to come off. I have looked at some pics of your model and saw a couple with regular hub caps and two or three with the nut lock type as shown in the pic. Good luck and Happy Travels
