manual opening of slideout

I own a 2001 fourwinds windsport and I have an issue with opening my slide, I know how to close it manually but I'm not sure if it's possible to open it. it's a hydraulic system.
does anyone know if it possible?

Not sure of it either. But here is my thought. Even if you could manually open the slide, how will you keep it out and open? There would be no pressure behind it.

from what I can tell it looks like a bottle jack so the pressure in the jacks would be up in order to push the slide out, then to close it there a knurled knob that you can turn as per instructions "2 turns" then use a bar and pump the arm to pull the slide in...
I guess my best bet is to just try and see lol.
