New covers for my Peeling Pleather

As a victim of the cheap upholstery, I finally got my last seat cover installed. Easy enough job just took a few weeks between other things....

I ordered covers through e-bay.
Funny side note...the place I bought them from was in Indiana, apparently they source the covers from "van conversion" companies....probably the RV manufacturers. They are the factory Ford covers the conversion folks remove to put in their matching "upgrade"
And I found out through the process that my chassis came from Ford with cloth, was swapped with Thor's garbage vinyl, and now it has Ford vinyl! Almost full circle....

Anyway, I had to buy a special torx Plus socket bit (TP55) and a hog ring plier, but otherwise it was an easy job and I have a new skill. (also needed a T45 or maybe it was the T50 I already had in a set....)
I'm not completely happy with my hog-ring installation, since I pulled the covers in a bit too much making puckers that you can see, but it'll work for me....

also added a swivel from discountvantruck

I think I'm going to like it! Wish I'd done the swivel thing years ago!!

Ours are getting sorta ragged as well, and we may attempt this project in the spring. Link to source of material perhaps? Would they also have replacement covers for sofa/dinette seat cushions?

there are actually several sources on ebay, searching for my 2013 Econoline seats. I don't get the idea necessarily that it's a source of endless supply...and no they don't have the other stuff such as the sofa....
I'm still looking for a solution there.
Here's what I ordered...looks like only a few left...

there were also some sources for the entire seat when I was looking too.

I really wanted to go with leather aftermarket form theseatshop.com, but had to go the cheaper route.
I'd certainly suggest looking at theseatshop.com though....for fabric, vinyl, or leather!

As Dennis the Menace would have said..."swell job". Those "puckers" will go away with use and normal settling/stretching.
