Recliner got stuck

Hi all. I have a 2021 Thor Chateau 28Z. My recliner got stuck in the upright position. When I pulled on the release cord, the cord went straight up smoothly but the recliner did not reclined. Please help.

We have a recliner in our 2019 Palazzo that is a little tricky. On ours you have to push the footrest in as you pull the release cable. Sometimes it takes two people, as it is difficult to get the required amount of pressure on it while seated in the recliner. Don’t know if this will help your issue but it might be worth giving it a shot.
