Side view mirror camera has intermittent connection

Has anyone had intermittent connections on the side view cameras? I have switched the camera connections on the switchbox under the driver's dash and it is definitely the passenger side camera that works intermittently.

When it works it is fine, but goes to lines in the video to complete loss of signal. I am planning to order a new cable to connect between the camera and the switchbox, but thought I would see if anyone else had this happen t them and what the solution (if any) was...

Check the cable, ends should be clean and free of corrosion, no hard kinks or pinches. No abrasion marks. All else fails, replace the cable and see what happens.

I did on my Tuscany and there is an extension cable from the radio to the camera cable on the inside where mirrors wires come through, I unplugged and reconnected them and it worked for about 20 min ultimately my issue was the plug inside the mirror head was loose from the wood screws holding the mirror on came loose and let the whole mirror shake its guts loose.

I know this is a late reply, but is there a good manual/guide for taking apart the mirror?
