Wet spot on floor

We have recently noticed a wet spot on the floor in front of the bed in our Citation 29GB, class c. I have tried to scrub it thinking the dog did it. It will not dry or go away. Seems to just stay wet. Cannot find any leaks from underneath the unit. Any suggestions?

First, I assume this is a vinyl floor...

To determine if the water is dripping from a ceiling vent:
Is there a ceiling vent directly above where the water is on the floor? Run your finger all around the vent and look VERY closely for a small drip which may be seeping through. If you find water there, you need to seal your roof vents - check ALL of them.

To determine if the water is coming from BELOW:
Is the "puddle" out in the middle of the floor (NOT close to a wall, etc.)?
Is there a seam in the vinyl floor where the water is, possibly allowing water to seep through from under the vinyl?
Are there holes of ANY type/size in the vinyl where the water is pooling? Even tiny pinholes can allow water to seep.

To determine if the water is flowing from somewhere else:
First, dry the spot thoroughly. Use a hairdryer if necessary.
When you first notice the water, look CLOSELY to see if there is a small "stream" flowing into the spot.
If the water is close to the bed frame or a wall, you may (strongly suggested) need to remove a panel to investigate.

Many, maybe most C have the fresh water tank under the bed so that is a good place to start. There will be many lines under there with supply, return, vent, possibly pump, etc. Lift the cover over the tank, the underbed and and start inspecting. Bed platform or tank cover maybe be hinged with gas struts supports, or screwed in place. Use a good flashlight to inspect the nooks and crannies. Activate the various functions while inspecting. In other words, apply city water to the wet bay and turn on a faucet or 2. Use the tank fill if that's controlled by a valve in the wet bay. Operate the pump. Get a small vacuum with a narrow snout to clean up the inevitable construction debris in the area which will make inspecting easier and more proficient. On water connections use a clean dry paper towel or tissue paper to feel around the connections for small slow leaks/seeps. Look for wood discoloration indicating past or present water. Let us know what you find.

EDIT; Forgot to ask, is it carpet or sheet vinyl?

Place a small stool or table (smaller than the dog) over the spot with some paper on it.
If the paper gets wet, leak from above.
If the rug is still wet, leak from below
If the spot dries, the dog did it.
