Whirlpool washing machine
First time using my washing machine in our 2020 thor aria. But it doesn't work. Any idea of what I need to do. Its a whirlpool front loader

Does it power up?
Are there water connections to it that might need to be opened up?

It does power up and I've got the dealer code cleared i set it up and it puts a time in and counts down stopping at 16 minutes but will not do anything else. I've looked for any water vales that might be closed but can't locate any. Even have changed wash from normal to other settings and still nothing.

Find the water valves (behind it?) and make sure they are open. I'd be $10 against a stale doughnut with a bite out of it, they were never opened. Dumb advice, but also make sure it/they are plugged in to wall outlet.

Our washing machine is on the EMS and may be shut off if certain other appliances are on such as the engine block heater and or fireplace
Make sure the engine block heater is off
Reset the breaker for the washer and it could be mislabeled so you might need to flip all of them
As far as the one starting do you see water in the washer? Easy to see and if your 16 minutes in you either see it or you don't
Good place to continue the search for a fix

WE have a new, state-of-the-art GE stack system that started doing the same thing...power up and then nothing. I pulled the old "control/alt/delete" on them...unplugged for 30 minutes then plugged back in...all good.

Sometimes the sensors get dirty. Sounds stupid but,,,, After pressing eh start button and holding it, the top light lights up,, then I open the door Spin the tub a few times then close the door. within 30 seconds it starts working.
I always open and close the door after pressing and holding the start button
I know it sound stupid but I don't have any problems washing a load now.
