Towing Truck with plow attachment - flat tow

I have a pickup truck that I want to flat tow. It has a plow "base Plate". Does anyone know if that "base plate" can act as a flat tow "base plate" for flat towing?

Do you have a picture of that plate in position?

1. If your truck can be towed 4-down...
2. If you can find tow-bars that will hook to that plate...

I think you need to check with the folks that sell tow-bars, and see what they have to offer.
Good luck!

Wouldn't that be a question for the plow base plate manufacturer? That would be the definitive answer - they should know what that base plate is engineered to handle.

While I agree: you know that they'll never suggest any solution other than their own...

Even if it is strong enough in all respects I think you’ll have trouble finding a suitable connection. Its most certainly worth a call to you current baseplate manufacturer.

Ask the manufacturer of that base plate. They made it so they should know the capabilities and weight limits of the plate.

Get in touch with RoadMaster, They are local here in Vancouver Wa and I have zero doubt they will help. Take better close up pictures. They do have adapters for plates not theirs.
